"I'm fine..." Ranya replied, something in her voice, hidden, sad. Koby's eyebrows furrowed with confusion. So there was something wrong, but he didn't know whether to ask her or not, whether it was stepping out of place or just rude. For once he actually cared about how he would go about someones emotions. Before Koby could think up anything to answer to 'I'm fine', Rayna cleared her throat, "So there's no god movies and the tv doesn't work.. What do you want to do?" A crack of thunder shook the house, lightning lighting up the room as the light made it's way through cracks of windows, illuminating the both of them, lying beside each other. Koby instinctively placed a hand on the small of Rayna's back in a comforting gesture, rubbing his thumb up and down. He gazed down into her eyes, trying to feel the connection he had felt the night before. And there it was, that little spark that sent him straight into being the goody-goody. Maybe Andrew was rubbing off on him. Looking into Rayna's eyes, Koby pulled her in, wrapping his arms around her and cupping her face against his chest with his hand. She felt so soft and delicate in his arms, against his bare skin. A warm sensation filled him, imagining her laugh against the silent walls. He suddenly wanted her to talk again, some sort of sign she wasn't frightened of the storm because he was there. But so suddenly, the rain outside came down harder, rocking the house silently. It wasn't violent - not yet. And Koby didn't exactly want to leave. "I'm kind of hungry, I suppose," Koby said innocently, smiling. It wasn't something you'd expect at those type of moments, but it was something to do. "And I think I should cook," Koby grinned foolishly before standing up, picking Rayna up along the way, picking her up into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist.
It was a fun kind of pick up. Not the sexual kind that he would usual do to bring on girls. He smelt her hair - strawberry. It drove sensations through his body again, making him warm. Walking into the kitchen, he sat Rayna down on the counter before scoping out her kitchen. "Hmm, Koby looked around the kitchen seeing can's of tomato soup, pasta. He opened up the fridge, letting a rush of cool air surround him. He spotted things he could do to make a salad. Smiling, Koby grabbed some cucumber, lettuce and tomatos and spun around to open the cupboard where he had spotted tomato sauce and thin pasta. He was going to make spaghetti. After venturing around the kitchen, Koby finally pulled out a pan and a bowl, the pan for the pasta, the bowl for the salad. He opened up the tomato sauce can and poured it all in the pan, turning on the stove. He opened up the packet of spaghetti, placing them in a bowel, running hot water over them. Koby then looked at Rayna, who appeared to be getting bored. With a mischievous grin, Koby flicked pasta at Rayna, before quickly going to her to stop her from moving anywhere to flick him back with anything.
