"Hmm?"
Naomi felt fuzzy, as though her whole mind was trying its hardest to climb out of a fog that just kept washing back over her. Like a wave.. A big wave.
She opened her eyes only to be met with blackness, the feel of the cloth against her skin only just registering within her mind as someone lightly tugged her from the vehicle she sat in and took off the blindfold. The light hurt her eyes and forced her to blink rather quickly for a few moments before she stared over at a man, older than she by not many years, who had begun to speak.
The young woman turned her head at the sound of another voice, this one feminine, that was just beside her. Naomi widened her eyes as she realized what that woman could possibly mean and, looking slightly down the line, saw a few other women. Questions rushed around her head, some quiet others shouting at her to verbalize. Have I been kidnapped? Is that man going to kill us? Why are there so many of us in the first place?
Her head turned back to allow her eyes to stop on the man, he'd called himself Ian, even as he walked away and a woman came out to 'greet' them.
"Why are we here?"
