Rose was really getting on her nerves. At least she hadn't had to deal with her during the week. She watched as Fionna was dragged into the car and pulled off. The door still open, Rayna sat down to put on her shoes. Just as she got up a building seemed to have bumped into her. A building which was her hot date. "Oops, sorry!" Jake laughed, stepping out of her comfort zone. Rayna got into the car, "You do look really beautiful," Jake said simply, and then they drove off, back to his apartment.. When they arrived, the place looked pretty nice. It was packed with people, and as she got inside she realized it was a grind party. Usually she'd be pretty happy but she had a date and she didn't know what was in store. "I want you to meet my best friend," Jake said into Rayna's ears over the music. She had his hand in hers as he dragged her into the crowd. Then she saw Rose. She recognized the backless dress and those magnificent curves. What she saw next was horrid. She saw Rose's dance partner. Koby. Her heart sank a little, yet it just proved she was right, once again. "This is Rayna, my date! Rayna, this is Koby, my best friend!" Jake shouted over the music, introducing the two. But Jake didn't know they had already been introduced before, on a much deeper level. Rayna didn't say anything, she just cling'ed towards Jake. Rayna tried to give a half smile but she couldn't even force it. "Hey wanna dance?" Rayna tried to say over the music. As they began to turn around she heard Koby say to Jake, "I thought you would have raised your standards over the years, rather than settling for some trash." Rayna's jaw dropped as she pulled Jake closer. The music was loud as she could feel him put his hands on her hips.
