Fionna's week went by quickly. She had composed three new songs and was already excelling in her classes. As the day of the party drew closer, Fionna became more and more nervous. What if Andrew didn't like her boldness before? What if he just didn't like her at all? Her insecurities seemed overwhelming, but she had found a great friend in Rayna and spoke to her often about her thoughts. Having a friend was a strange new thing for her. Most females either viewed her as competition or just plain weird, but Rayna never thought of her that way at all.

The day of the party had finally arrived and she found she desperately needed Rayna's help in finding a dress to wear. Rayna seemed more than happy to help her and after finding a great dress and fixing her hair just the way she liked it, Rose came in and dragged her away. Fionna gave Rayna a pitiful look saying help me as she and Rose left the house. Rose drove like a bat out of hell and Fionna unclutched her hands from the seat after they got to the house. Rose dragged her inside behind her and promptly left her to find her date.

Fionna, being rather short stood on her tiptoes, searching for Andrew. She couldn't find him and sighed. Maybe he really didn't like her. Maybe he preferred redheads. As she was thinking all these negative thoughts, one of her favorite songs came on. It fit the moment perfectly as her eyes found his across the room and she gave a small wave.
