Jake rubbed Rayna's back as she sat in his lap, their foreheads touching. There was a sort of feeling in the air of uncertainty that went by undetected by Jake. His mind kept wondering back to the night before, how he had treated Rayna and what he had tried to make her do. His thoughts led him back to where Rayna left him, and how Koby had dropped her off. "Rayna?" A question already forming in his voice. "So, what happened last night between you and Koby?" Jake's eyes narrowed slightly at the taste of his friends name on his tongue. He was trying to imagine them together; Koby's cruel, teasing nature along the guarded, loving Rayna. It just didn't seem like a puzzle pieces to match.
