Jake glared at the door as it slammed shut after Rayna made her exit. He sat there in silence for a good while before hearing his phone from the other room. He knew it'd be Koby, but he figured he was too peeved to be bothered to go reply. I'll reply later, with that, he went over to the pizza's Rayna bought in and took a large mouthful before opening the refrigerator behind him. He looked at the black cans that he cradled when Rayna had first walked out on him. He considered the possibilities of her coming back that night before briskly picking up the can and took his pizza's up to his room. He quickly grabbed his phone before settling on one drink, a whole pizza, a movie and a few texts between himself and Koby.

"Rayna walked out, lol" Jake sent, forgetting the message from Koby. He frowned to open the message: "How's things?" It read. Jake shrugged; he sent more or less a reply. He eyed his TV, thinking about how far away it was from him before shifting his weight to sit up and turn it on. He flicked through channels before settling on some nonsense. He got another text from Koby:

"lol? uhh, why she walk out?" Koby glared at the message, a smirk playing on his lips. He sculled the rest of his can. Usually he would have called Rayna by now, apologising and asking if it would be okay to come by. But this time, he felt differently.

"Come over for a few drinks?" Jake sent Koby, ignoring the question. "Bring Rose if ya want, he added after a moments thought. What could hurt a few friends and some drinks? At least Rayna couldn't get mad at him for drinking with Koby. That was their past time. He wouldn't let her ruin that. "I guess. I'll be over in half an hour, gotta pick up Rose," Koby replied.
