Brook felt like she was just going to fall to the ground, it wasn't usual for her to break down comepletely like this. Usually it was the anger that would win and take over but eight now it was something else, something she did not know how to deal with. She was glad her siblings weren't here to witness this, she already felt like a weakling, having no control half the time.
Arms wrapped around her, holding her steady so she wouldn't fall. She felt a hand running through her hair and heard the words of concern "What's wrong Brooke?" Such a big question that she was unsure of how to answer. How could she tell Willow, someone who she has hated since the day the woman stepped into the house, that she felt like she was losing herself, that she couldn't go to the cafe without losing control.
Being held by Willow reminded her how she used to be held by her mother when she was feeling insecure and lost, she was very much a mamas girl. Her mother helped keep her stable but she no longer had that in her life. When Willow came into the picture she was flat out pissed but she never really gave the woman a chance.
Tears were running down her face, her body was shaking "I...I am sorry W..Willow" her voice was barely a whisper as she spoke "I...I just I am l..losing m..m..myself" her words were stuttered as she felt herself crumple down on the floor. "I d...don't k..know who I am a..anymore, m..my mom..." she couldn't contine on. It was just too much for her. Sometimes she wished she had left this world instead of her mother, at least her mother could help people unlike her. She justs hurts others, she was not safe for anyone even for herself.
She pulled her knees to her chest and placed her forehead on her knees as she just continued to cry. "I...I am just psycho" the words were muffled as she spoke. She wished her power would just go away and for her to be human, she would have to never worry about hurting someone else again.
"This is him. What is it? Are you the one who's been calling? I've been trying to get a hold of you!" Dani heard Henry's voice over the phone, she looked over to her sister who was giving attention to J.C. ans the dog was loving it as always. She got up and started walking back and forth throught the living room.
"Ah yes well this is uh Dani Roy...we uh met at a party about a month ago" she said into the phone wondering if the guy even remembered that night. "There is something I need to talk to you about" she looked over to Lyric, remembering her saying she shouldn't tell him over the phone but that was exactly what she wanted to do. She really didn't want him at her place but Lyric said it would be best to do it in person and that she would stay to support Dani. "I think it be best if we met in person, at my place. Its on Oak st, right on the corner...I will uh be here all day" she stopped in the middle of the living room as she waited for Henry to say something.
It was good Lyric was here because most likely her phone would have blown to pieces because when she was on edge so was her ability. She has replaced her phone way too many times then she could count.
