Adion got up from his seat at the bar. He would have to log the conversation, but first he finished his drink. He handed another handful of assorted coins to the bartender and walked about his way. Adion then went into his room, opened his journal where he scratched down the conversation, got out his good pen and ink, and began copying the journal onto a scroll with some notes added in parts of the conversation to point things out.

The vere loved scrolls. They were what all officially published documents in Vera had to be on. Books and note pads were only used by the vere of notes or drafting, reducing the use of expensive scrolls. The libraries of Vera would put the titles of scrolls on the sides so that they would be quickly known.

Adion's penmanship was impressive. Outstanding compared to even some politicians. That was the odd think about vere, they were large but ungodly gentle and in control. Adion soon finished moving the conversation over with his notes added to help other vere understand the situation. Adion then packed up the small amount of stuff that he was carrying when he traveled, went downstairs, told the bartender that he was leaving, and went out the door. It was late, and the sun was low. Adion would be able to travel through the night much easier than he would during the day. He could feel the cool breeze on his fur, which brought a sensation of pleasure to the large being. Adion started to walk to the exit of town. He would head into the land of the Huldrefolk. From what he had heard, they may fight him and give Adion a run for his coins. This did not concern him too much.
