The wolf was about to bite down with the strange blood venom that dripped onto the ground, sizzling and steaming as it touched the grass. Dead patches of grass had sprouted where the poison fell. He let the wolf get closer and closer and closer still. Suddenly the Immortalis sprang seemingly out of nowhere, shoving Ashton. Ashton almost stumbled but mostly stood his ground, if not taking a few steps forward. “Heel yourself before you hurt yourself.” The frost guy spoke to the dog in a calm and strong tone. “And you, Fey. Provoke him any further and my blade will also come your way. Stop this fight now before someone gets hurt.” Ashton sneered at him before lifting a finger to his face. His own injury from the helmet had splattered a few droplets of blood. He wiped one off leaving a dark red smear on his pale cheek. Then he licked the tip of his index finger. It tasted disgusting and rustic but it fueled his power.
Then he remembered the girl with the locket. He sighed. The fight would have to wait for another time. Besides he was sure this was going to attack attention. He walked up to the werewolf and quickly put his five fingers on the dog’s chest. Under his breath he muttered something and the wolf was blown back. He was not hurt, at least not too much but Ashton had knocked him pretty far. “Well I’m done here.” He addressed no one in particular. Then he flashed a smile. It made him look innocent and younger since it wasn’t his fake smile, nor a smirk. “Thanks for the fun afternoon.” Then he jumped up onto the roof top of the nearby building and started running, following Rosetta’s presence.
