Hardly noticing the beer that spilled down his back from manhandling Sodapop, Kaleb laughed as Soda struggled against her hold until she finally slumped, accepting her fate. Finally answering his question that it in fact was Kaleb whom Jaylene loved he felt the snap of her hand against his rear - making the young man jump in a combination of excitement and surprise. The drugs had already lowered his inhibitions significantly - which were already dangerously low to begin with.
"Hey! Watch your hands missy, or else I might just have to not watch mine..." He said in a low guttural voice, running his hands up her thighs, his fingers skimming just under the fringe of her shorts. As she dared him to drop her in the water, he laughed, "Don't tempt me Jaylene - you should know better than to dare me to do anything." Daredevil could loosely be used to describe Kaleb. Although he was mainly the one putting others up to impossible drunken stunts - he could never say no to a dare.
Snapping his attention back to the lake, he expected to see Lyfe shaking the water from his hair. "What the-" he wasn't able to finish his sentence before he took off. Throwing his shirt aside; Kaleb ran knee deep into the water before fully submerging himself, swimming to where he had seen Lyfe hit the water. His mind felt in a frenzy, his muscles in spasms from the frigid water - however with the help of adrenaline, Kaleb was able to find Lyfe.
His body was limp, as if he was asleep, but Kaleb could hear his soft breath in his ear as Kaleb adjusted Lyfe's weight so that he could drag him through the water and back to shore. "Damnit Brik - weren't you just at the hospital..." A worried Kaleb mumbled, reaching the cave and pulling Brik onto a soft bed of moss. He pumped Brik's chest, but the boy seemed to be breathing fine - he just had to open his eyes. "Brik! Wake up you Prick!" Kaleb shouted.
