Jonas pulled his eyes away from the mirror when Kuma walked in, asking if he was okay. He nodded, "I'm fine. I looked around the house, it looks like it's been empty for a while, it'll probably be safe for us to stay. We're going to need to go into town and get food soon, though."
He turned to his friend and saw that she was captivated by her reflection, an uncomfortable look on her face as she hugged herself. He caught her glancing at him and he gave her a reassuring smile. "You are beautiful, Kuma, don't worry." He said, placing a hand on her shoulder before turning and walking to the wardrobe in the room and opening it.
"It seems the previous owners left their clothes behind, lucky for us." He grinned and pulled out a pair of khaki pants. "It'll be nice to change out of these prison clothes, eh?" He looked down at his torn and bloodied pants. "Don't look, okay?" He turned around and removed the sweat pants and pulled on the khakis. He was afraid that they'd be too big but they actually fit nicely, it seemed that he was lucky today with a lot of things.
He decided to keep his jacket, but removed it so he could replace his shirt with a black V-neck before putting the jacket back on again. "I guess I'm going to need a new scarf, too." He joked, pointing to the bloody, tattered old thing wrapped around Kuma's arm.
