It wasn't long before Ren made it to her apartment building. She slowly made her way to the elevator and was rather irritated that there were three other people standing there waiting. However, it wasn't long before the elevator arrived. Inside, she leaned against the wall and took a deep breath. It had been a long day. College sucked, but at least she got a few things today. She couldn't help but to smile at her new items she had gotten, one was actually free and unstolen!
When the elevator stopped on the third level, she got off and started down the hallway. "Heyy Mysuki! Nice hair!" One guy said before rubbing his hand all over her hair, intentionally messing it up. "Whats in the bag, Mysuki?" He asked before trying to snatch it. Quickly, she pushed him as hard as she could and ran to her apartment. "Ha, loser!" The guy yelled before heading to the elevator.
Inside her apartment, Ren fixed her hair and growled lowly. She hated him! Ever since she never called him back after getting really drunk at a party, he had been a jerk! Taking a deep breath, she fished out her cigarettes from her bag and walked over to the couch. After flopping down, she lit her cigarette and took a deep drag. "Well lets check out this new notebook." She said to herself before digging around in her bag to look at it. It was odd, but she loved it. On the front she read the words outloud "Death Note... hmm...." She paused then smiled and opened it. She skipped through to the second page. It was all empty. "Nice." After pulling out a pen she started writing.
'Marcus Mitchell. Stupid American. I hate him. I wish he would get what he deserves.' She paused for a second then thought of the many ways she would kill him. "A girlfriend!" She cheered before taking another drag. 'If I could kill him, I would make him get this smoking hot girl who murders him or possible gives him aids." She began to laugh historically before setting the notebook to the side to flick the ashes of her cigarette. Her green eyes stayed on the notebook for a moment before her cat, Midnight, jumped into her lap. "Hello baby." She said as she began to pet him. "How was your day?" She asked but suddenly, Midnight's attention was moved onto the notebook. He began to hiss before jumping down. For a moment, Ren was curious, but dismissed it. Midnight was always acting weird.
