Kuma smiled, seemingly content with the plan, but something inside her seemed to shift and she tensed up and growled, stepping in front of Jonas protectively. He shrunk back a bit, afraid that the guards had found them. "What is it, Kuma?" He whispered, his voice small at the terrifying concept that they might be going back to the facility.
"Someone is inside, they smell funny." She hissed, Jonas's eyes widened and he was about to ask a question when Kuma quickly darted out of the room. He approached the door and peeked out, making sure she was okay.
He spotted a scared, frail looking girl who was severely cut up and bruised. Someone from the facility, he realized. He disappeared into the master bedroom and went into the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Luckily, he found some old gauze, band-aids, and disinfectant and pulled them out, walking out into the living room in time to see two new strangers entering. He stepped back at first, but quickly recognized their prison clothes and strode into the room more comfortably.
He acknowledged the newcomers with a casual nod before going back to the sad, bleeding girl. He stood next to Kuma and presented the medical supplies. "I found these in the bathroom, but it'll help more if I heal her. It would take the pain away quicker."
"Umm.... hi. I'm Seth... and this is Amayu."
Jonas looked up to the speaker, the blonde haired boy, and smiled slightly. "My name is Jonas and this is my friend, Kuma. We escaped from the facility about an hour or so ago." His smile brightened a bit, "it's good to know we weren't the only ones who got out. I was feeling guilty about leaving people behind."
He thought a bit and then added, "if you guys want to get cleaned up, there's a shower in the master bedroom and in the bathroom down the hall. There's also some clothing in the closets in both of the bedrooms, help yourselves. Kuma and I were just about to go into town to try to get jobs and food when you guys came in. You can join us if you want to when you're ready."
