Kyle nods as he listens about how it makes Robin feel weird. "After the sky cracks then shatters into a shower of light, something is totally going to happen or the whole crack and light thing would be underwhelming." He says as he tosses a cookie at Robin as he rolls his eyes as he asks about homework.

Kyle walks out of the kitchen and goes over to the TV, switches it on and flips to the news and watches as they flip through different videos shot from peoples cell phones and even an earlier portion of the news where you can see the light crystals rain from the sky behind the news anchors. "When i saw this...i thought it was my day dreaming going over drive...." He says thoughtfully. "But then i saw everyone getting out of there cars and i knew it was real." He looks at his cousin. "What do you think happened? It's like our world was covered by some....shield and it just...broke! What do you suppose will happen now?" He says as he returns his attention to the TV where the news woman is talking to someone off screen "What? What do you mean? She nods as she smiles uncertainly before speaking "We're coming at you live with a new report that seems to be tied to today's events. There have been numerous reports of people being swallowed by what appears to be...well it was described by one witness as liquid darkness. The witness continues by saying that a red, glowing, crystalline object shaped like a heart floats into the sky before being swallowed by darkness. The police are not commenting on any of the reports.

Kyle looks confused at this news and he flips to another news network where they are showing a earlier clip where a reporter is standing across the street from a building and there is a strange ant like creature with bright yellow eyes in the back ground for roughly five seconds before it seeps into the ground and slides off screen. "The hell was that?" He asks as he points at the looping footage. "Did you see that Right there lower left corner." The news people start talking about strange shadow creatures appearing and attacking people, the victims then disappear into darkness with a strange Heart floating away and being absorbed by shadows. "This...can't be real, it's like something out of a anime." He says in a voice full of shock. He gets up and strides across the room and picks up the phone and quickly dials a number. "Mom? Mom.... yes...yes.... i was outside when it happened.... Listen please come home now... why not? Mom people are being killed by some things, please come home... Mom your job wont matter if this is an alien attack... Okay i'll be here, please hurry." He hangs up and dials another number and haves the same conversation with his father. "Why does dad have to be so...stubborn." He sits back down but cant stop from shaking his leg up and down.
