Yellow quickly awakens to the sound of a train nearby. How long have I been out for? he ponders, sitting up from his bed. It has been long since dawn, judging by the sunlight beaming through the window. "Time to get a coffee for today." Yellow shrugs as he grabs his keys and heads for the Starbucks. Clanging down the steps and towards Toronto's streets; an aroma of smells and homeless people meets Yellow. Oh God. It smells like a daycare in Detroit. Rain slaps down from the sky and the streets are illuminated by both skyscrapers and streetlights. One of these days I'll need a car. Bad. Up ahead is Yellow's well known illumination of green an white, with an almost blazing STARBUCKS sign ahead. Yes yes yes yes ye- and no. What the hell is going on here?! The store lights suddenly shut down and all doors are locked. Grabbing a nearby employee from his collar, Yellow frantically searches him for a key. "I want my coffee. I NEED IT. PLEASE." The employee huffs and touches the ground to look at him and slap him. "First off, don't grab the shirt. It's not company made. Second, we close at 9. God damn it." The girl shoves past him towards her car with another huff. I see how it is. Yellow wipes the layers of rain from his glasses and heads for the apartment yet again. THAT COFFEE WILL BE MINE.
