Shadow led the way through the grass and trees until they got to his den. "I'll start digging if you want to hunt," he said as he headed inside. It was a small den, only big enough for one wolf. He had dug it all himself and didn't pride himself on comfort at the time. Once there was room for him to curl up to sleep he had stopped digging, but he decided this time he would put in an effort and make a decent sized hollow for himself and Death.
He started by levelling out the floor. His sleeping area was currently sloping down into the ground at the same angle as the tunnel. After a few minuets he started pushing some of the dirt back up towards the entrance, before returning to his work on the den.

Star Light looked at Nouvell feeling a little stupid. It had jus been a dream after all. "I just had a nightmare," she explained, "I think we had cubs, and so did my brother and Death, but their cubs attacked ours. It was horrible," she shook her head at the memory, trying to dislodge it, but it seemed seared on her brain. She leant against Nouvell for support.
