She laughed at Liam's remark. "There's no more being careful in this world. Don't you see that? Everything is gone, except for a few lucky people that lasted." She didn't turn around and head for the car she just kept on walking. At first looking at this bloody dis formed figure she thought that couldn't possibly be the beautiful young girl Amy. But as she approached the gate she started to make out the features that had almost been completely destroyed. "Dear god Amy. What has happened to you!" She looked at her palm which still had the small hunting knife in it. She wouldn't let her only friend suffer like this.
"I'm so sorry Amy. I really am." Tiffany took the knife and jabbed it into the zombie's eye. The lifeless body fell to the ground. "At least you can't suffer anymore." She thought about what she had just done. Amy was her only friend and now she was gone. She sat a few feet from the chain-linked fence. I can't believe myself
