Adam's eyes widened as the girl walked towards him, he hadn't actually expected someone to be there. At least not anyone human. He quickly stood up, almost falling over his own feet when he did. He hadn't interacted with another person for a long time and was mentally hitting himself for not practicing this in his spare time.
"No, no!" Adam said a little louder than he needed to. He mentally hit himself again and stuck his hand out.
"I'm Adam, sorry if I sounded rude or anything, I don't get good company often." He chuckled softly. Often, a better word would've been ever.
