Something inside of Judas snapped. Lauren knew it as soon as his hold on her vanished completely. She only had a second to catch a glimpse of the pure, unbridled rage inside those bright blue eyes before he turned around and went at it, pulling his knife from his belt in the process.
"Listen here you little-...!"
Lauren stepped in front of him, holding him back as she took a hard grasp on his shoulders. "Judas stop!" she hollered, wincing in pain from the wound in her arm that burned at the struggle.
Judas backed up, his fists clenched as he jumped at the woman again. Lauren caught him once more, legitimately strugging though he let her hold him back as he went on a verbal rampage, "Try it bitch see if I don't leave your sorry ass here!"
"Judas!" Lauren yelled
His eyes were wild as he looked down at her and settled the moment he saw blood staining the inside of her gauzed up arm. His body went lax around her but he kept his knife out, not fully backing down. He stood there, looking up to give the woman one more 'eat shit and die' glare that promised death and insured the woman that she was lucky Lauren was holding him back. He moved his hand to inspect the blood stain but Lauren pulled away, turning to the woman.
Her smile was one of forced friendliness, and her voice was smooth. The voice of the peace maker, the negotiator. "Look, I'm sorry about him...he doesn't...play well with others." Judas scoffed behind her and she shot him a look over her shoulder that forced him to back away with an angered pout. Lauren turned to the woman once more and offered a weak smile, "Please, just don't go in there. Trust me. We barely made it out alive."
