Silvaine felt two things.
The first was an intense confusion, almost like she'd been slapped in the face with a fish. That had wings. And possibly a third eye. That level of confusion.
But the confusion she felt was replaced when she handed Skylar the rose and took in her own hand the frozen raindrop. It sparkled beautifully in the sunlight but gave no hint that it would melt anytime soon. She managed a smile and the rose, now in Skylar's hands, shuddered as it's petals glazed over so that they looked like colored glass. Neither of them knew it but it what was known as a life rose and it would take various forms according to it's maker's health.
A smiled bloomed on Silvaine's face, though she wasn't entirely sure why. "Sure," she said, timid but not unkind, "I'd love to be friends."
