"who is your friend, Hikari?" Undine asked with a teasing smile

Hikari turned his head to Guy, impressed by his power "God of destruction he calls himself" the goddess of the light answered Undine without looking at the goddess of the water.

Cracking sounded was heard coming from the mountainous golem's elbow. Massive chunks of rubble crumble before the hand itself fell.

"NO!" Gust's loud echoing screaming voice was heard from afar. Then, sounds of explosion was heard one by one. The god of the wind was smashing the massive chunks of rubble that has fallen before it could reach the metropolis beneath, fearing there are still survivors. After all the smaller chunks are destroyed and turned to dust, Gust swung his feathery mace at the mountainous golem's fallen arm, totally vanishing it from view. Panting, he flew wobbly to the three above, slightly dizzy.

"Hikari... Undine..." He nodded at the two goddess as a greet, still panting, and turned to Guy, curious "um... you..." he greeted with a nod, not knowing who Guy is.

Suddenly, a humming sound echoed throughout the metropolis, caused by the vibration of the mountainous golem's blue core. It turned to purple and the rubble down in the destroyed metropolis underneath shook before abruptly shooting up towards the mountainous golem, absorbed.

"oh no... I think it's recovering" Undine warned, but it was too late

The mountainous golem has revert back to how it used to be before it lost its hands. All its limbs are complete and now, a purple colored protective barrier envelopes it. It wasted no time. The mountainous golem spread its leg, putting a steady footing on the ground before shooting an even stronger rays from its gut to the gods and goddesses in the sky.

"Watch out!" Hikari shouted and casted multiple white barriers to protect herself and the companions.

One by one the barrier was shattered by the mountainous golem's rays until Undine took over and casted her own high velocity water barrier to intercept the rays.

"I'm still recovering from clearing the chunks of rocks" Gust panted

Then another surprise. Ostwyn's guardian golems reappeared with jets of fire coming out of their feet. They were flying towards the mountainous golem, shooting dozens of missiles from their cannons but only managed to hit the purple barrier. Seeing that their shots failed, they charge their cannons, collecting power from the surroundings, hoping that their next attack would be able to break through the mountainous golem's barrier. The mountainous golem stopped its rays and quickly swung its arm at the two guardian golems but missed as the guardian golems quickly flew up to evade the hand.
