At the young, green haired woman's (Eri Soluce) question, Ormir's attention returned to the two pieces(Eri Soluce and Kael Skye). 'Yes, I am a dragon...' she thought, giving a slow nod. However, her face quickly turned thoughtful as she realized she was in her human form here. How could the girl have.... She gave a soft chuckle, smiling as she wordlessly communicated to Ekuro, "She was talking about you, wasn't she." Ekuro gave a chuckle of his own, a deep, purring rumble in his chest, and Ormir felt his amusement at the understandable mistake.
The man also expressed his confusion, and though he spoke quietly to the woman (Eri), Ormir could still hear him clearly. He seemed to think Ekuro was too small to be a dragon, though the man was barely reached Ekuro's shoulder. Ekuro gave a short, rumbling growl at being told he was small, and Ormir quickly cut him off with a feeling of disapproval.
Suddenly, he addressed her in a rather odd manner, asking what she fed Ekuro. Ormir was confused about why he was asking. The question seemed to come out of no where and Ormir was not sure whether he was trying to be funny when he just as quickly decided he did not want her to answer this question. This man acted much different than what she normally expected of humans, and she wondered if she would be able to figure him out.
With that thought, she realized that there were two sides to this odd game of 'chess,' and she still had no idea which side these two were on. She had not even thought to find out, naively assuming they were her teammates. A slight nervousness filled her, making her pupils turn to slits (Draconian Transformation: Stage 1), and she immediately slid down to investigate, noting the hilt of a sword sheathed in the side of the saddle. Ormir never thought to just ask what pieces they were, or whether they were Plenoran. If they did turn out to be enemies, she would have to act quickly. Two against one was never good odds, so she would need the advantage of knowing and acting first.
She clasped her hands behind her as she approached to show she did not intend to harm them, yet. Getting a bit closer than one should when first meeting, she leaned forward to peer first into the man's face, then into the woman's, the light glinting in her slitted eyes as rain slid down her face, dripping from her chin and hair. She found what she was looking for sitting just under the woman's jaw. A black mark. The word 'bishop' popped into Ormir's mind, though she had little idea what that actually meant. So the woman, at least, was Plenoran. The man, however....
Thinking of where his crest might be, Ormir's left hand suddenly darted out, grabbing the man's arm and turning it over before he could react, revealing her own crest. She was relieved to see a black mark on his palm, and again a name popped into her mind. 'Rook.' So she would not need to fight them. A relieved sigh escaped from her lips as her eyed flickered for a moment before returning to their normal, human appearance. She released the man's arm, hoping she had not hurt him. Realizing she was a bit close, she took a respectful step back and clasped her hands in front of her, Ekuro peering curiously over her shoulder at the pair and wondering why Ormir had done that. Ormir ignored his curiosity for the moment, watching to see what the Rook and Bishop would want to do.
