Thaqotul stared into Kuro's eyes. He must be bluffing, he thought, but when he looked into those eyes he ssw nothing. They maintained that stare for a while, until finally Thaqotul spoke.
"Fine," he said, giving in. He let the vial levitate back to where he had found it. If Kuro was speaking the truth, and he could resist the Echanii's power somehow, then he didnt want to waste such a valuable weapon. "Fine," he repeated "Go ahead. Kill me. Kill us all. See if i care. But know this, we are essential for Daughtris' survival, I have forseen it. If you kill us then the Echanii will easily win, and youll be to blame. Oh, and one more thing. If the Echanii wins, the shadows themselves will die. So, go ahead."
