Galen sat through the class, taking a few notes o things that confused him. When the teacher finished lecturing and told them their homework, he slowly worked through the problems. he was sure a lot of them were wrong, but he did not care. Glancing out the window next to him, he watched the sky for a few moments, allowing himself to get distracted. He was not sure how long he was staring, but eventually, he looked back down to his paper and sighed. He wished he could read right now.
He was at a climatic moment when Odysseus and Diomedes sneak into enemy lines at night and slaughter the Thracians. Galen wanted to know how they escape, and desperately needed to keep reading. Staring at his paper, he started tapping his pencil on his desk impatiently, wanting to get out of this blasted class already. Why did he have to start the day with Math?
