Brent looked up as Miranda approached his table for the second time. A small but visible smirk crept onto his lips as he saw her smile. She was so cute. He really could get to know a girl like her.
"Have you figured out what you wanted?" she asked, causing Brent's smile to fade into a frown. He actually hadn't a clue. Everything was in a foreign language and he had no idea what was in anything. Believe it or not, as carefree as Brent could be, he was extremely picky about his food. He was the hardest to please when it came to complicated dishes. Something simple would've sufficed.
He mumbled a few sounds as he eyed the menu again. "Do you have a chicken burger, or anything that resembles one?" he asked, still looking quite puzzled. "I have no idea what any of this is," he gestured to the selection of food. He looked up at her for the second time with a sigh as he lifted a hand to rub the back of his neck. He must have looked like an idiot.
