Evan packed up his things and ducked out of the class without hesitation. When he had made his way over to his locker he pulled it open, dropped off his stuff and made his way down to the cafeteria. On his way he was greeted by an old friend, Gerard, and after making some boring small talk, he continued down the hall with him until they were in the enormous and somewhat empty cafeteria. The lunch period had just started and most students were in no rush to be where they were supposed to be. Evan grabbed a bland, small lunch and sat down with Gerard at a table with a few other faces. Even laughed when they laughed, and didn't when they didn't. His mind was somewhere else.

Emma stood up and gathered together her stuff with a yawn. Emma would normally leap out of the room and to the cafe as quick as she could, to avoid being caught alone, but she wasn't in the mood today.
"Hey, where're you going?" Emma turned to Erica and asked, taking the risk of being told by another person that "they were busy."
