"Hello all!" Professor Rowena ran into class right in time. "So our first unit starts off with the Greek Pantheon. We will focus on ten Gods/desses at once, then after the test we will focus on the Muses that go along with it. Now here are the ten Deities that we will be working with this lesson."
She put the list on the board, explaining them as she went.
1. Zeus - he is the ultimate God of the Greek Pantheon. He is one of the sons of Cronus.
2. Hera - She is the Mother Goddess, she married Zeus.
3. Apollo - he is the God of prophecy, archery, the sun, and music.
4. Aphrodite - She is the Goddess of love and beauty.
5. Ariadne - is the Goddess of the labyrinth, or maze. Myth says she was quite the trickster.
6. Artemis - She is the Goddess of protection and hunting.
7. Demeter - is the Goddess of the Earth.
8. Dionysus - God Of Wine and Ecstasy.
9. Eileithia - is the Goddess of children and childbirth
10. Eros - is the God of love

"Now I want you all to take notes of these. When the test comes you will need to know the ones that I have picked. I will pick them in a weeks advance from the test. That is the end of today's class everyone. Here's the homework..."
