Two weeks before…
Jacob smiled proud and full of himself as his beautiful female informed him, “I will always be yours for the taking”. He was about to kiss her again when he heard a noise coming from the forest. He noticed how Lily noticed it too as she asked him, “stay here.” He moved his head in disagreement, “the hell I’ll stay while you might be in danger, I’m going” were his final words before she gave him a soft and endearing kiss that made him skip a heartbeat. Lily rushed in towards the sound but Jacob was unable to follow as his nostrils perceived the faint smell of the cold ones, they had somehow managed to hide their scent. It was a male vampire that seemed to be looking at Lily not too far from where they were standing, as soon as Lily moved to the forest the peeping vampire charged against Jacob tumbling him down to the ground. Jacob got up in a beat and grabbed the vampire’s neck tightly not letting go forcing it to the ground.
"Fuck you and all of your kind!” the vampire barely muttered having difficulty to talk as Jacobs hands held tightly onto his neck, his grip grew tighter as the vampire spoke carelessly, Jacob looked right through his eyes as his own started to change to that of a wolf, “If I were you I would shut the hell up”. The vampire then pushed Jacob with his feet and was able to get free from his powerful grip. "Where is Claudie, and what have you done with her?!" asked the vampire in a demanding tone as he got up, while Jacob punched his jaw line, “How the heck would I know!? Besides I ask the questions here bloodsucker.” The vampire chuckled as he spit his own blood to the side, "yeah… enjoy while you can dog, in a matter of weeks we’ll kill you and all of your disgusting kind! Especially that cute chick with the lovely eyes I saw before". Jacob was truly angry now and kicked his ribs with all of his might, “Now You’ve done it sucker. Say your last words!” yelled Jacob before punching him for the second time, just the thought of this low-life vampire seeing Lily and thinking of even harming her was enough to drive Jacob mad. “We will kill all of you!” were the vampire’s last words.
Under normal circumstances other pack members would have interrogated the vampire, for his threat against the packs, but Jacob being the ‘shoot first ask questions later’ that he was couldn’t help himself and ended up tearing his neck apart. It was then when he hurried back to where Lily was running as fast as he could. It was then when he saw two vampires against his Lily, one of them was besides Lily and Jacob saw in slow motion as one of them pressed a silver piece against her back, “No!!!” he yelled in anger seeing the pained face on her loved one and after the sight of her blood coming from her side. It was then when he sprinted to tackle down the vampire that had the audacity to hurt his mate. Without second thoughts and with his anger at seeing Lily in pain he broke its neck killing it instantly. When he turned his gaze at the other bastard the vampire starred in hatred at Jacob and hesitated before it stormed off walking away from the fight that would have probably ended up in more bloodshed.
Turning back to Lily seeing her in pain, he carried her, “Shhh… it’s ok, you’ll be ok baby.”
Present Time...
Jacob woke up in a sudden move remembering everything that had happened during two weeks that seemed to have happened in a flash. He had asked Anne to help Lily which she did without second thoughts. Also, Lily and Jacob had made plans to recruit more wolves to fight for the cause and to plan a surprise attack against vampires, after all Jacob knew something had to be done soon. With the help of his sister Elise, who was helping train newcomers, they had already gotten a small yet strong group willing to do whatever it would take to kill vampires. Jacob didn’t mention anything to Lily about the planned attack of the vampires, after all he didn’t wanted her to worry too much, he knew that the vampires were planning on going on a killing spree… soon.
