The sound of foot steps pulled Nizhonis attention away from the arrowhead, and within seconds she'd spot four familiar faces - Drew, Conner, and twins Kayla & Sarah.
"Oh this oughta be good" she would mutter sarcastically while slowly submerging herself into the water until it reached right under her nose.
She wasn't one to spy but the situation just happened upon her not the other way around, so reluctantly she watched as the woman stripped out of her clothing.
It was of no surprise to Nizhoni to see discomfort written all over Drews face, he wasn't a dog and most surely wasn't as experienced as Conner - even though he seemed to wanna be.
"Don't be shy!" she'd hear Sarah tease before the woman began to pull Drew towards the water.
At this point she wished she was anywhere else in the world, but being too uncomfortable with the idea of stepping out of the water in front of them she'd stayed put. However it wouldn't take long before the whole situation began to really irk her.
"I like a strong man" was the last thing she'd hear Sarah say before the girl planted a huge kiss on Drew, which was the straw that broke the camels back.
"I like a strong man!? Seriously Drew!" Nizhoni would quietly snap to herself, and within seconds she'd begin to make her way towards the waters edge - totally wanting out. She'd part her hair in the back and swing her long black locks around to the front so by the time she began to walk onto the shore her chest would easily be covered.
Avoiding eye contact with all four of them she'd put on a fake smile and throw her hands up as she made her way towards the same staircase-like formation she walked up earlier. "Pay me no mind, I'm just leaving."
Once beside Nubia again - who was now wide awake & staring down over the edge at Drew & Sarah - Nizhoni would turn her back to the water and ring her hair out over her right shoulder.
"I like strong men.....I can't believe she actually said that, how easy!" she'd repeat over in her head while she put on her top and then picked up her bra and bottoms - slinging them over her shoulder. "Come on Nubia."
The two would take only a few steps back down the cave wall before Nizhoni ran back up to get the half-empty bottle of beer. "Definitely don't want to forget this!!" she'd mutter, before again making her way back down towards where Conner and Kayla where.
The smile she'd give them was small an again fake, and she'd glance back at Drew and Sarah for a few seconds before shaking her head and walking away from the watering hole - water dripping off of her with each and every step. She'd have to snap her fingers to get Nubia to follow, since the Husky obviously wanted to stay and play all of the sudden now that it was time to leave.
"Maybe later, kay?" Nizhoni would say, as she bent down to rub her ever-loyal companions head.
Once back in her room she'd close her door a bit harshly, throw her bra and skirt on a table, and then pull the daggers out her boots before kicking them off so she could flounce down on her bed - bottle in hand.
Nizhoni wouldn't admit to being jealous, an instead spent the next several minutes downing the rest of her beer and staring up at the ceiling.
"I wish I could understand why he wants to be a chick magnet so bad, even Conner can't stand half the slutty women who hit on him! Besides, just flirting with girls makes Drew nervous!" he'd whisper aloud, before sighing.
The beer she had left would vanish pretty quickly, an after realizing she was soaking her bed sheets Nizhoni would found a towel, dry herself off, and then slip into a black robe she had found a few years back. She knew she should try to sleep, but with her mind racing at the moment she decided to visit the infirmary and gather the supplies Luis mentioned them needing earlier in the evening.
Her tan sling-backpack is what she usually brings on missions, so she'd grab it and a dagger - never one to go out and about without SOME kind of weapon on her - before heading out. Nubia would again elect to stand guard outside the door instead of a following her as she'd backtracked the same way she came from the watering hole to get to the infirmary near it.
