She had come from the castle after hearing the ruckus, and so had the beast. Descending from above was a massive beast, far larger than any of the helicopters that flew through the sky, far taller than any of the old-growth within the forest that surrounded Verinotte Hollow. Despite that, she slithered through the Hollow with ease, wings pinned tightly to her back. Her talons parted to reveal a small girl, dressed similarly to the women of old Victorian times.

While the Taiyou vehicles made their way toward the castle, the beast took off from the ground with a great beat of her wings, landing in their path. The gargantuan's wings extended to further block the way. An eerie. green glow emanated from just behind her eyes as the dragon stared down the soldiers trying to infiltrate the castle.

A voice boomed from all around, speaking to each and every one, reaching even those from within the ships.

"What is your business with us?"
