He continued grinning at her as she began to process everything that had happened. He twitched his ears and thought of how, just what he could do to thank her. He certainly couldn’t go anywhere too far until he was fully healed, so he’d have to figure in that fact. He wanted to do something that could merit to what she did for him. After all, she could have left him to die in the alley. However, she didn’t. He liked that.
Of all the people he had ever met, she was certainly the most interesting. He stared at her with a tilted head as he contemplated what he would give her in exchange for her kindness. His ears twitched again as he saw the color of her eyes. They were pretty to him. Where he came from, everyone had blue eyes. So it was uncommon for him to find someone different. It made her unique and so much more interesting. Ah!~ But he wasn’t supposed to be thinking of how interesting she was but how to thank her. Simply saying the words didn’t measure up, and by his nature it was wrong not to fully repay someone. But what could he do for her? And then the girl blinked and spoke
“Okay…so you’re the cat?” He nodded, grinning again as she pointed at him. Had she been thinking about that the whole time? He wondered. “And you just called me master right?” Had he? Hmm, maybe he did. Master had a nice ring to it, almost like it fit purr~fectly. He raised a hand to his chin and tapped it thrice, as he continued to think. His eyes got wide as he heard the grumble. At first he looked around, but then saw the expression the wore, her face was red again.
“Okay… my head is spinning and I want food, I’ll boggle my mind on it when I can think straight.” The girl didn’t seem in the best of spirits. Now that just wouldn’t do! She stood up and addressed him
“Uhm… do you eat omelettes?” Omelette? That word was new to him. In fact it intrigued him so much that he didn’t hear her next statement. He blinked and tilted his head in an adorable cat-like way before standing up from the floor.
”What is ome-lette.. nyan?” He asked her. He moved slow and wobbly due to the bandages covering the still healing wounds on his leg and chest.
