"Leading," Skylar corrected. "Divina is leading the advancing troops.
Kaoz nodded half-heartedly.
"There you have it. He's leading them. Wonderful. I guess we'll get to see him in action, now won't we?"
Arian Fay looked at Eden, concerned.
"Baby, are you okay? And to answer the last statement..." He looked up. "I don't know. A fort nearby. But how hard is it to miss... What did she say, 2,000 troops? Something like that." He shook his head. "I don't know how to scry, normally it's used by hydromancers, water elementals, and mages. I don't even know how Kaoz can scry. There's no cell reception, and I don't even have a phone. Contacting her by magical means seems the only way possible.
