His hand was warm. It had been too long since Kat had felt someone elses hand...completely ignoring the times when the hand had been attempting to strangle or attack her. She chuckled silently at the thought as she led him around. She had no idea where she was going at the moment but her feet did and soon enough (though it probably took a while, the alcohol played with her mind a bit) they found themselves standing in a crowd of trees. She smiled widely and looked up, Bojangles' hand still firmly clasped in hers.

"You know....no matter how much the world changes, how much we change, how shitty everything gets.... the stars are still up there twinkling away and being as beautiful as ever. It's reassuring, ya know?" She didn't even know what she was saying, her mouth seemed to have a mind of it's own. A cold breeze hit her and she shivered slightly, unconsciously moving closer to him so she didn't feel as cold. She couldn't see many stars from where they were standing, and the grass under her feet looked wet. But it was calm and peaceful and between the mission she had just been on and the mission she was about to go on, this was exactly what she wanted.
