Closing her eyes, Alison willed herself to meld with the wall behind her, attempting to blend in with her surroundings. She didn't even realize she was holding her breath until she sighed with grief, opening her eyes to see a prefect from Ravenclaw. His tone was stern, causing Alison to wince. Although students were allowed to roam the halls to a certain extent, during such a grand event attendance on the grand hall was more than suggested.

Creeping from behind the knight that hadn't offered enough shelter, Alison scratched the back of her neck, attempting a laugh. "See, Peeves chased me down this hall when I was on my way do my dormitory." She said simply, as if that explained everything. As he opened his mouth to speak again, it struck Alison he would most likely ask why she was hidden behind the decor. Cutting him off before he began to speak, she added "I ran behind this gentleman so that Peeves would leave me be." She rested a hand on the knights arm graciously, an edge of humour to her words.

The prefect surely was in her brothers class, and Alison was sure she knew his name - it was just a matter of remembering it. Never having been on good with names, Sonny mostly relied on others or making up last minute nicknames when she had to refer to others. But as her own hazel eyes traced his features, she was sure she knew his name. Dawning on her, her expression was on of realization, then causing the corners of her lips to tug into a becoming smile. "You're name is Kye...right?" Her dulcet tone was genuine, stripped of her usual attitude she had the tendency to take with those outside her circle.
