Oreron sighed and looked back at Aleph. A pathetic shell of what he used to be. He would have pitied the knight but it was his own desisition to descend into squallar. Something that wasn't his problem to begin with. A low growl grew from his throat and his head made a movement as if he where rolling his eyes at him.

He turned back to the sapian female, tilting his head to the side as he looked her over. Hurt but not fatally. Broken but not defenseless. She would be fine with out his accompaniment. He reached into his arm plate and pulled out a partially burned Photo and held it out to her. "Have you seen the child in this photo?" He asked her. The voice that came with the question was still metallic, but laced with a hint of fear. Something that wasn't there that often, especially for a neco.

In truth, he had been looking for the child for the better half a decade and a half. He had lived among sapiens when the child was born. It was his flesh and blood. The one thing that had kept him sane in the wastes; the thought that this child might still be alive out there.
