Lucian almost frowned when Amelia pulled away from the kiss and removed her hand from his neck. He was rather enjoying the kiss, and from the way she kissed him back he could tell she was too, but like him she knew that the kiss was wrong and it should never have happened. He shook his head as she shifted his gaze to her hands. "I... We..." she said, seemingly lost for words. He smirked. Just having that effect on her was pleasing enough for him.

He noticed that she'd stood up and he finally allowed his eyes to follow her. "We should not have done that," she said. He shook his head for a second time. He too stood up and he moved closer to her so that he was merely an inch away from her, their lips almost touching for a second time. He looked up at her through dark yet loving eyes. "Quite frankly, Amelia, I do not give a shit," he said, emphasising the 'not'. He placed his hands on her hips and pulled her forward so that her body was pressed against his.

"You may not like me and you may care more about your father's views on this than you do your own, but I'm crazy about you and I love what you do to me when I'm around you," he said, "I want you." He leaned in slowly and kissed her for a second time, this time more passionate than the last. He could not believe how fast his relationship with her had changed from enemy to friend, and then to a sort of attraction for her.
