Ember & Gabriel
Ember was disappointed in the sudden turn of events, but their conversation wasn't over yet, and there is still the possibility of it turning into a fight. Her ears were practically bleeding from the- City? She turned to stare at Ace, the light in her eyes changing. "City? What's City?" She mentally shook herself, and started to speak clearly yet rapidly. "I apologize, my companion and I have to leave, immediately." Ember quickly retreated back to the cabin.
When Ember entered the Cabin, Gabriel was still in his spot. His lower face still wrapped with the black creature. That is until Ember pulled it off him and he finally saw the change in her demeanor. "There's a city to the west." She held out his swords, and he traded her with her own bow. "Okay.... Let's go then." He placed his swords back onto his back, and walked out of the house.
Ember walked out after him. When they passed the tree line, they began to run.
