Pure terror showed in the immortal's eyes at Alek's threats as his hands attempted to hold its rotted entrails inside of his dead cavity.
"Vampire!" it hissed out, trembling in the grasp of the other. "You... dare... slay... me... brother?" A questioning look intermingled with the look of fear. It was unfathomable for the vampire to see another of his kind was threatening to end him.
"It is... true... the day... walker... has... come..."
It's eyes flicked to Ellie laying on the ground where she laid. Her mouth moved as if trying to say words but no sound came forth. The bricks began to crumble where Alek pressed the vampire into the wall.
"It... is... as... Amelia feared... I... can... help... you..."
"Tink," Ellie said. It was the last word she uttered before the girl's eyes closed, losing consciousness from her blood loss.
