While he had asked her what she thought he should be doing, Roman did not think she would give him a real answer. It was simply friendly banter in a bar, nothing more. But when she opened her perfectly shaped mouth to give him her advice, he found his brows raised and mouth falling open a smig. Of course a girl like this would have brains as well, it only made sense that she be absolutely perfect.
His eyes flicked to her drink as she spoke, watching her finger roll around in the liquid before following it to her mouth. Her finger left her mouth and he flicked his eyes back up to hers, inhaling through his noes to calm himself. While Roman could handle his liquor, he was a few drinks in already when she had shown up. His werewolf side often came out of him when he drank, the side of him that was all predator. This girl, with her long dark hair and matching eyes, was tantalizing him with her words and movements. He had to hold himself back, though he did not show it physically, from going all 'wolf' on her. Roman would not hurt this girl, would not lay a finger on her, until he was absolutely sure he would not cause her harm.
"...your also quite charismatic which is a great quality to have in a leader, and pretty strong I'd say if you can handle your whiskey" A leader? She took one look at him in his shabby suit and bad flirting tactics and saw a leader in him? Roman could not help but feel happy at the thought, though he knew not to fully trust her opinion. She was a human, and even if he would make a good leader in the human world, that did not make him an Alpha. Though she was correct on his strength...he mentally shook his head, forcing and grin on his face to show that he appreciated the compliments.
She continued to talk, and he listened at attention. So she liked the outdoors, and animals to boot? He couldn't help the small chuckle that escaped him, but he hid it quickly by signaling the bartender for another drink. This girl was an interesting one alright, maybe something he could look into keeping around a little longer then just a one night stand. He was already drawn to listening to her more, even though he knew he should probably call it a night and pay a visit to the pack. But honestly, he wanted to sit here more. She thought of him as a leader, something no one had ever said about him, and he liked it. How many times had Roman thought about taking over the pack, but his fear of not being able to correctly take over held him back? How many times had he looked at Wilder with a look of pity and hate, just because Roman knew he was stronger then the puny Alpha?
"I agree with you" Roman finally spoke up, nodding to the bartender in thanks as he poured another whisky, "I'm not made for this stuffy suit, its a shame you could tell so easily. I love the outdoors as well and animals...but not the sort you talking about. I find my interest lies in predators more then sheep and cattle. If I could find a job incorporating that it would be amazing" He smiled at her and took a swig, then turned his chair to face the human girl.
"But see, I'm not really educated, didn't even finish high school. Its pretty hard to find a worthwhile job when your a drop-out, especially in this day-and-age. I hunt, and have so all my life with my dad...if there was a way to make a living off of that, or anything in the wilderness actually, I would take it, no doubt about it"
