Nightfur woke up to hear rain pouring down and heavy panting and thunder. She looked up worriedly, and couldn't see Kioni. She managed to get up and walk around the corner of the cave to see Kioni laying there, panting heavily. "Oh my gosh!!" She quickly came over and tried to drag him up before collapsing on top of him. "Oh dear, I'm so sorry! But what happened?! Your fur is burnt!!" She frowned in worry as she tried to stand up again before collapsing on Kioni again. "Oops." She smiled nervously. "Um, could you possibly carry me back?" She chuckled and licked his ear, soothing the burns a little. She remembered why she loved him so much now.
