Sammy practically yelled when her father told her he'd put her picture on the fridge. "Daddy really wants to put Thammy's picture on the fridge!?" She knew her father was feeling better, because he hadn't put a picture of hers on the fridge since mommy went bye bye. "Daddy, is Janey going to stay with Taylor and Thammy and daddy?" She asked, looking up at her father with syrup dripping from her lip and pancakes in her hands.

Jane smiled, finishing up the dishes and watching the children eat. Jane couldn't help but remember her family, and her smile faltered for a second. Jane stood up a bit straighter, shook her head, and took her hair down from the bun she had wrestled it into. "So Mr. Reed, you're a musician, right? What do you play?"

Sammy's eyes went huge. "Janey doesn't know daddy is famouth!?" Sammy was so shocked, she actually dropped the piece of pancake that was in her hand, gasping in shock. "Thammy can show you!" Sammy jumped down from the chair she was in and grabbed Jane's hand with her small, sticky one. "Thith way!"

Jane followed the little girl, laughing quietly as Judith tried to follow them. Sammy led her to a den, small but not cramped, that was full of band memorabilia. "Thith is what Thammy's daddy does! He maked muthic...then mommy goed buh-bye, and daddy just gets thick now,"

Jane got down on one knee in front of the little girl. "Want to know what I think will make your daddy feel better? How about you and your brother go tell your daddy that Janey is going to take you to the aquarium, and you want your daddy to come with,"

Sammy's eyes got wide, her smile so huge her little face looked stretched. "Okay! Thammy has never been to an aquarium!" The little girl ran out of the room, chanting in a sing song voice, "We going to the quarium, we going to the quarium!"

Jane stood up and laughed, wiping the syrup residue on the apron she had found and put on. "These kids are absolutely the cutest things, Mrs. Reed. I can't imagine what they're going through..."
