Nightfur looked up as Kioni left the cave in a rush. "Kioni!" She yelled out, but it was no use. Nightfur continued to mourn until the first rays of sunrise peeked through the branches, and Kioni's father reported Kioni's whereabouts and actions. Nghtfur nodded, then when he left she cried some more. Why does he always act like this!?It's ok child... He's not used to losing things...You're right Birkita, I'm not being fair. Nightfur sighed, and looked down at her two kits. "I'll love you forever you know? You're my little ones, and that will never change..." She purred and they huddled together, keeping warm from the late autumn chill.
Nightfur woke up, realising she had fallen asleep. Orchid and Misty were lying next to her, suckling milk. She smiled softly and basked in the morning sun, as she waited for Kioni to come back.I hope he's ok...
