Emily nodded, resigning that Strider wasn't going to listen to her. She looked throught the window and watched Strider jump out. "God, please let this work." She took a deep breath and leapt out of the window, coming to landing on all fours like a cat. Feeling the wall drop, all of her adrenaline left her in a large swoop, and she swayed. Fearing that they wouldn't get enough of a head start, she began to shakily run, barely staying upright. Dammit, Emily. Don't be the dead weight here. "Go!" She yelled at Strider, hearing the guards opening the window and jumping out after them. They ran through the trees, keeping a nice distance between them and their followers.

After what must have been a few miles, she turned around a tree and listened. Hearing nothing, she turned to Strider, "I think we lost them. But they won't give up the search. We should only rest for a moment before moving again."
