Akira didn't like what has happened to her, but at the same times she was happy that it did. It was something has been let free and can finally get a breath of fresh air. Heath had suffered as well as everyone else on the bus. She leaned her head on the window by the seat she was in. She closed her eyes trying to slow down her breathing. It took work to get the wings out. And it hurt like hell. The blood that was on her back has stained her skin. She wrapped her arms around herself since her blood had melted the shirt off her body. It was now a colorful puddle on the ground.
"Is everyone alright?" Akira shook her head unable to speak. She was shaken up. She held herself tighter hoping that what she had just went through was just a dream. That he brother would be cracking jokes about something that only made sense to him. But the longer she thought about what she wanted the more reality set in. This really did happen. Copper colored wings did sprout from her back. Others on the this bus had suffered as she did. So to answer Lucian's question. No. Akira is far from okay.
"Those pendants are our's can't you all feel it. They call to you and that is because....no matter how crazy its sound's...We're dragons" Akira covered her ears. She doesn't want it to be true. She wants the wings to disappear. She removed one hand to touch the pendant and when she did her flashed a bit of copper before settling back down. She couldn't tear it off. Akira was confused, but the emotion running through her. It was yes and no. Anger and Happiness. Relief and a burden. She wanted to be free, but then she wanted to lock herself up. She silently cried to herself. She hated this feeling.
