The sound of her phone vibrating was the one thing that could wake Hudson up on a Monday morning on time. “Ugh! Who texts me this early on a Monday morning?!” She rose from her bed and snatched the IPhone 5 from her nightstand before reading the text from her roommate. She put her phone down and fell back in her bed with another groan. “It is too early to be up. Especially on a Monday of all days.” She said in her head before sitting up in her bed and repling to the text. Alright, alright. I'll down in twenty. She laid her phone down before getting out of her bed and seeing her cat, Lex peak his head from under the sheet, probably seeing if his own was up. And when he saw she was, the gray cat leaped out of the bed and went right by his owner's side as she walked into the hallway and into bathroom.
Turning on the water, she watched her cat scurry out of the bathroom and back to the shelter of Hudson's dark room. The Aussie let out a chuckle before stepping into the shower. For the next ten minutes, she wasn't really worried about anything but showering, getting cleaned, and sing the rest of her Ellie Goulding song, Only You. After do all that, she turned off the water, hearing the squeak of the pipes as the water turned off. She wrapped her red towel around her body and began walking back into her bedroom to get dressed, not paying much attention to all the pets they had in their house. Cajun and her were pet people, sue them.
Closing the door, behind her she saw Lex looking right at her from his black cat stand. The Aussie rolled her eyes as she grabbed the outfit she had laid out off of her desk and laid it on her bed before wrapping the towel around her jet black hair to keep it from dripping all over the wood floors. The last thing she needed was their landlord bitching at her about it. She already got yelled at for calling him out on being an ass a few days ago and by the looks of it he was still a bit pissed at the girl. In her defense she was having a bad day though. Hudson slipped on her top and then her jean shorts all before looking over at her shoes, mostly sneakers picking a plain pair of her Chuck Taylors. Once tying her laces she stood up and looked at herself in her dresser's mirror and with a smirk she nodded at herself before taking the towel off of her now dry hair and tossing it in her hamper.
She fixed her hair and her makeup which about another ten minutes after having to start over from messing up on her eyeliner and cursing a little storm. Now she had to make her roommate even a little long because of it. She hated making Cajun wait but, she could always make some bread and coffee to spend her time as she waited for Hudson, and probably Julian to get down to The Mighty Bean. the before grabbing her phone from her bed, seeing if she had any messages from anyone. And the one she had was from her older brother's husband, Jackson or 'Jack Jack' as he went by. It was just saying they needed her to work tomorrow because of a music festival going on in the local park. Hud groaned once again before texting back a quick: yes. What was she suppose to say? No to her boss and her brother in-law, and have her older brother yell at her over it. They were both her bosses and she had to say yes to them. Sadly.
She slipped her phone in her back pocket before grabbing her keys and closing the door of her apartment. As she walked down the stairs she was stopped by her landlord and archenemy, Bernard Gilligan. “Livingston, do you know when your rent is due?” She stopped walking and smirk as she stopped and looked at him. “Hm, I guessing around every time it's due meaning three days.” She said with attitude in her voice as she put her hood up, looked at her phone, and walked right past him not really in the mood to hear whatever he had to say about her, her accent, or her attitude. “Livingston, you better pay in full this time!” She just waited at the door before nodding. “Kay, love you too.” Sarcasm obviously in use before he walked in his office. She lost her smug smile and rolled her dark brown eyes. “Asshole.” She added under her breath before in the back alley of the Mighty Bean to see her roommate, sitting down. Walking up to her best friend, Hudson smiled before speaking, “On of these days, I going to beat the crap out of that little British man.”
