Eleywen Silinor

Eleywen almost regretted it instantly afterwards, as she watched the Khajiit run off into the falling rain. All she had to do though was remind herself of all the amazing things that could be inside the Bleak Falls Barrow...she wouldn't have to worry about running out of coin for years! And even more, imagine what sort of Spell Tomes could be inside. She could learn so much just from this one journey, imagine what the people at the college would think. The elf smiled weakly, and followed behind both the Khajiit and Nord, ready for anything that would come at her. She hadn't used any of her destruction magic for a long time, not since her days in the Thalmor. She was almost...excited.

Though she wouldn't let them know that.

As they ventured up the mountain, the rain soon turned to sleet, and then shifted to snow. She felt chilled right down to the bone, and instantly was reminded of her original home in the Summerset Isles. It was probably sunny there. Warm, with just a bit of a cool breeze blowing through the tall green grass and leafy trees...The elf looked around her. Only dead and bare trees lined the landscape, along with a few camps every now and then. She wondered briefly how many people had tried to enter this place before, only to be overcome by bandits or giant skeevers. The Altmer shivered to herself, pulling up her hood a bit further, struggling to stay warm. She wasn't adapted to this weather, unlike the Khajiit with fur, and the Nord who was born and lived here all her life.

It felt like they had been walking forever, when finally she saw the stones structure just a bit further in the distance. Right as she way about to speak of her relief, Dar'Jargo hushed them quietly, drawing his bow. Eleywen crouched down slightly on instinct, her hands open and ready if any bandit was about to come near her. She was about to ready her shock spell, though stopped mid-preperation, watching the Khajiit send an arrow off towards the bandit standing on a tiny stone bridge. It hit with deadly accuracy, the man tumbling down to the ground and eventually off the face of the mountain. Eleywen watched, stunned, and a small smile came to her face. It reminded her of the time when they had a Stormcloak hostage out by Solitude...

Her thoughts were interrupted as the Nord rushed forward, sword in hand, toward the other bandit. The Altmer watched attentively, frowning at the sound of her loud battle cry. Had they already picked off both the bandits? She watched as the Nord decapitated the final one, and grimaced slightly at the brutality of it. Blood stained the white snow, and she realized that if she wanted to do something, she'd have to step forward a bit rather than lagging behind.

She took a single movement forward, squinting to look through the snow, and noticed a new shape running towards the warrior woman. It all happened too quickly for to respond, and soon, the bandit in full armor was upon her, slashing with as much force as he could with his axe. It only took a second for Eleywen to respond. Fire wouldn't work, but...electricity would.

Her range was good enough for this, and she readied her spell in both hands. She was only intermediate in destruction, as opposed to her expertise in restoration, however this would be powerful enough to get rid of just a single bandit. The Altmer pressed both her hands together, merging both into a single powerful spell, and unleashed it upon the bandit, just before the Nord was about to step off the back of the cliff. The area around her brightened from the shock of her spell, the electricity dancing in the air for a split second before plunging towards the bandit.

She heard him shout in pain for a few seconds, his body convulsing and twitching in place, his grip loosening on his axe. The weapon tumbled off the edge of the cliff, and his body collapsed to the snow, making a few more sudden movements, and becoming still once again. The Altmer placed her hands by her side again, letting out a strangled breath she had been holding in anticipation.

"I...haven't done that in awhile." She said quietly, letting out a quiet chuckle. That had been a bit more than she expected, and a lot louder too, sounding like a storm was raging above them. She made a mental not to herself not to do that inside the ruins, or they might cave in on all of them.
