Annelise flinched at Sebastian's confused words, mistaking his reaction for anger. She whimpered weakly, hanging her head as she sobbed helplessly. Neither had any idea what the other truly meant. Sebastian had assumed she meant as a friend, yet Annelise had assumed the worst and thought he knew how she felt. "I-I can't help if I feel this way.." She croaked softly, her voice weak. If he already knew how she felt, she thought, why not let it all out? "Do you think.. I like feeling for you like I do? B-Because I know that if anything ever comes from it people will be nothing but angry!" Annelise cried, raising her voice in panic as she trembled with fear. She stood up, tears streaking her face as she looked down at him in heartbreak. Her blue eyes were wide with desperation, begging that she could take back the words coming out of her mouth. "I hate that I love you!" She yelled, not even thinking of the two inside that could hear. "I.. I hate it..." She sobbed, her mind just now processing what she admitted. "I...." She whimpered.
"I have to go.." Annelise whispered lifelessly, bolting into the house as quick as she could so he couldn't catch up, if he even wanted to. She passed by Leighton and Alarick, not even noticing as she sobbed uncontrollably. Throwing the door open, she ran outside, scrambling to get into her car and start it at the same time. "Come on.. Come on..." She pleaded desperately, finally managing to jump into the drivers seat. "Please.." She cried softly, starting the car.
