"Shh, you need to rest. You're the one who needs a doctor. Yes, I am hurt, but you need more attention than I. You almost died. Ash let herself be lifted by Lucifer. She looked at him through her lashes, feeling her limbs get heavy. "You--" She coughed, "You need help, too." He carried her and began to run to the doctor, and she let her head rest against his shoulder. The movement of the fast pace caused her stomach to roll, but she held it in knowing it probably wouldn't be appreciated for her to hurl all over him.

Once they arrived, Lucifer yelled out and Ash opened her eyes slightly, her lids becoming increasingly heavy with each breath. Lucifer brought her into a room and laid her down on the bed, but before he could leave Ash grabbed his hand, "Take care of yourself. Please." she asked, before he left and she was alone with the doctor. The doctor plugged her into the IV and checked her vitals. It was very much like a human doctor's office. "So, you say it was a demon attack?" The doctor asked, writing something down on his clipboard. "Yes." Ash nodded. The doctor pursed his lips and put his hand against her neck, examining the marks and also checking her pulse. "Your pulse is rather slow, do you feel weak? Lethargic?" The doctor asked her, and she swallowed before nodding weakly. "I can barely move." She says as she blinks slowly. "Well, you lost all of your blood, so that is to be expected. Not to mention you have a concussion. You're probably going to be feeling pretty horrible for the next few days. I'd say for you to stay the night tonight and we can see how your doing tomorrow. You're very lucky to be alive, Ashlynn Pierce." He smiled at her and she shrugged, but she fought to keep her eyes open wide enough. "Wait, please, can you check Lucifer? He fought hard with Shax--the demon--and I think he's injured badly." The doctor nodded and with that, the doctor left Ash alone in the room with her thoughts and the steady beeping of the machine.

The doctor went outside to the waiting room and spotted Lucifer. He waved him over and spoke in hushed tones. "Well, she's miraculously lucky to be alive, but I think she'll be fine. You can go back and see her if you want. Although, she asked me to check on your injuries. Would you like me to take a look?"
