On a relatively far-out planet, several Revelation Mobile Suits were in the middle of moving several crates of supplies that they were "obtaining for the good of the people". The people in the town, who were in the middle of a famine, begged to differ. Then, in the blink of an eye, two of the Mobile Suits exploded into metal and pretty lights.

"CORPORAL!" The commander shouted over his mic, "GET ME AN I.D. ON WHAT THAT WAS!"

"I've got it, sir, and you aren't going to like it..." The corporal said, his scanner showing up in front of him in his helmet.

"That's not important, TELL ME NOW!" the commander barked back, and the corporal gulped audibly over the transmission.

"It's... It's... IT'S AN ANGEL!" The results from the rest of the team were... To be expected for Mooks. (Protip: listen to this for reference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-SYkQkTO-k) As Stride waited the approximately 8 minutes it normally took for anyone without a Custom Suit to finish overreacting, he stretched out it his cockpit, thankfully remade by him so he could base Heaven Piercer's movements off of his, rather than input controls. Once they finished their usual song-and-dance, Stride fired up his lance, pointing it at the commander.

"Hey, listen up! In the furthest reaches of the system, there's a name that's whispered in hushed voices in the dark of night! A name that causes evildoers everywhere to-" His heroic introduction was promtly cut short by several hundred bullets in his general vicinity. After the gunfire died down, the commander radioed his second-in-command.

"All clear?" he asked, waiting for the smoke to clear.

"Not even scrap left." she responded, her scanners piercing the dust that had been kicked up. If they had ever dealt with a protagonist before, they'd have realized how bad NOT seeing the body is. They found out rather quickly once two more Mobile Suits were turned into expensive fireworks.

"LIKE I SAID," Stride continued, his voice now with a tinge of irk in it, "MY NAME... IS STRIDE WALKER..." And he sheathed his lance, the drill fists extending from both arms, "And you just pissed me off."

The commander once again opened fire on his position, but Heaven Piercer was gone before the munitions could hit their mark, and when he reappeared, was right next to two more Mobile Suits, their cores now home to two large drills apiece. The non-exploded Mobiles drew their melee weapons and charged in en masse, hoping for strength in numbers. Stride immediately proved how bad an idea this was, ducking and weaving between every blade, blunt weapon, and fist, and taking out the Mobiles behind each weapon. However, this time there were no explosions until he was away from every one of them.

"What was THAT waste of time? You didn't get a single one of-" This time, it was the commander's turn to be cut short, as Heaven Piercer withdrew it's drills, causing a chain reaction explosion between all the Mobiles upon retraction. As Stride walked back to the town, the leader stood before him with gilla for his work.

"I didn't expect such a show, Young Walker." he said, tossing him the currency Stride had come for.

"Yeah, well, I need to keep up appearances somehow. I tend to get paid less by the network, then." Stride responded, snagging the money out of the air. The man only laughed and responded with a smile.

"So you'll be staying the night?" Stride grinned, and shook his head.

"And risk getting caught? Nah, Yellow King is safer. Take care, though, and just tell anyone who asks that The One Who Pierced The Heavens did all this. That's GREAT publicity!" With that, Stride closed Heaven's hatch and took off, leaving a trail of dust behind him. As he moved, he counted out his gilla, and apparently, the man had decided to give him enough to both fix up Yellow King again AND upgrade H.P.'s weapons, which he'd been saving up for ever since he'd fought someone who's had more defenses than he'd expected! Laughing in his newfound fortune, he took off into the night.
