Jack sat at a desk in Mr. O'Connor's room, and finished fill out the forms. Jack looked up at the teacher's desk. "You entering in the Thanksgiving Tournament Mr. O?" Jack asked, just trying to see if his biggest competitor and teacher was going to compete. Mr. O'Connor shrugged his shoulders not knowing if he was going to compete. Jack was always filling out forms for another tournament. Jack was allowed to do all these tournaments if his grades were kept up, that was the deal his parents made him. Though Jack was always busy entering tournaments, his school work was always done. He was a A/B student, and his teachers were always amazed because of it.

Jack worked hard to keep his grades up and compete in his favorite sport. Many students were jealous of him because he made it seem so easy to do, but in reality, Jack was exhausted at the end of the night. Jack actually preferred to fish, and stay out of the house, especially lately, there was tension between his parents and he couldn't figure out why, and when he asked they told him it was nothing.
